I could see my dad in his vegetable garden, my mom in her flower garden, and feel the warmth of sitting on their laps in the evening. The chorus hit me like a wave of nostalgia, taking me back to childhood moments of praying and singing in church, watching sunsets at the lake, and listening to the wind rustling through the pine trees around the house I grew up in.”

This song holds a special place in Janelle’s heart. “It wrapped me in a sense of peace,” she says. “Reminding me how God’s presence inspires us through prayer, songs, sunsets, and the spirit of Christmas. Tears filled my eyes, remembering moms voice, the smell of home cooking, and the matching pajamas she made me.  My prayer for this song is to uplift anyone who struggles with grief from losing a loved one. They may be gone, but will always live in our hearts.”
